Choosing Childcare
It is an important decision that parents make when they choose childcare for their children. At Kinder Haven, we believe that every child is entitled to high quality care and we work to help you find the best childcare solution for your needs.
Kinder Haven has been a leader in childcare since opening our first centre in 1996. Through our website, you will be able to learn more about our philosophy, our centres, and what we can offer you and your children.
As a parent you need:

- someone who can care for your child
- to know that help is at hand
- to know that your child is safe
Our staff are highly trained and carefully selected, with the same people caring for your child each day. The ratio of staff to children will always exceed the minimum requirements, so your child will receive more individual attention. We believe that our carers always have something new to learn, so they receive on-going formal and informal training.
Each age appropriate room has specific indoor and outdoor programs designed each fortnight to offer your child the maximum opportunity to develop their physical and social skills, as well as their self esteem and learning skills.
Children do their most important learning before the age of five. That’s why, in addition to lots of love and attention, everything we do at Kinder Haven involves early childhood development. Through different programs and plans we incorporate a variety of activities and experiences to assist in the learning process.
We have adopted the adage "It takes a village to raise a child," (African proverb) so we work together with parents to establish and maintain a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Parents are welcomed to discuss and contribute to their child’s developmental program. Parent nights are organised twice a year, and allow for lots of questions, feedback and to generally learn about what’s happening in the room.
At our centres, we take security and your child’s safety seriously. Access to our centres is through a secure entry system. What’s more, no child will be signed out or released from the centre except to you, or a person authorised by you.
A safe environment is created in each centre to encourage your child’s learning; through play and by exploring age appropriate programs. We balance the program of both indoor and outdoor activities to stimulate all areas of your child’s development.
We are dedicated to providing an inviting warm atmosphere to further encourage your child’s development and love for learning.
You and your child are more than welcome to visit any one of our centres. By seeing first hand what we can do for you and by speaking to our carers you will be able to better assess the Kinder Haven way of doing things.
