At Kinder Haven we plan our programs and activities through observation of the children, tailoring our experiences and activities to meet the children’s individual needs and interests. Our programs are changeable at any time as required and are flexible based on the children’s interests.
Each room has a Room Leader who receives designated planning time to carefully construct a program that continually meets the needs of the children within that specific room. Portfolios are created for every child and these are sent home with parents at the end of year. These books provide a wonderful visual journey of each child’s year at Kinder Haven.
Cultural diversity and awareness is celebrated among staff and children. Families with English as a second language are supported and welcomed. A Daily Reflections Journal is located within each room. The Journal is written up daily to record the highlights of each day, including photos.
Kinder Haven offers a fully Accredited Kindergarten program within a convenient long day care environment. Our Bachelor qualified Kindergarten teachers prepare children for school, through our School Readiness program.
