At Kinder Haven we strongly believe in the theory of learning through play. We encourage hands on learning experiences to help stimulate all the developmental learning areas. These areas are:
• physical development (gross motor, fine motor)
• language
• cognitive skills
• emotional/social development.
When children are given the opportunity to manipulate different mediums, whether they be natural or man made, they are able to really learn, understand and experience the nature of how things work.
Here, we provide you with different activities that you can do at home with your children. These activities will be updated and will focus on different experiences that promote development. Through ‘play’ and repetition, many life skills and concepts are learnt. Enjoy!
