Delicious smells wafted down the hallways at Kinder Haven Moonee Ponds last Wednesday night as our special guests prepared the scrumptious ingredients for their cooking demonstration.
Wednesday 20 July saw the very first Kinder Chefs event held for families. Our wonderful special guests, nutritionist Jenny and Kane and Lee from My Kitchen Rules 2010, brought knowledge and expertise to the children and their parents.
Jenny started the evening off, informing the crowd about the importance of a healthy diet and how early eating habits can set children up for life. Kane and Lee then took over and demonstrated just how easy it is to make balanced, healthy food for the family by cooking Vegetable Dumplings in Broth and San Choy Bow. The audience was captivated by their animated cooking skills while accompanied by two of our very own junior Kinder Chefs!
